tan60=√3
cos 45=1/√2
sec 45 =√2

therefore,
2 {tan}^{2} 60 - 4 {cos}^{2} 45 - 3 {sec}^{2} 45 = 2 \times  { \sqrt{3} }^{2}  - 4 \times  { \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} } }^{2}  - 3 \times  { \sqrt{2} }^{2}
= -2
