Given :

a = 2

b = (-1)

To Find :

The value of 6a²b²-4ab

Solution :

∴ 6a²b² - 4ab

Placing the value of a = 2 and b= -1 in 6a²b² - 4ab

= 6×(2)²(-1)² - 4×2×(-1)      [ ∵ -1×(-8) = +8]

= 6×4×1 + 8

= 24 + 8

= 32

∴ The value of 6a²b²- 4ab is 32.

  • The value of 6a²b²- 4ab , when a = 2 and b = (-1) is 32 .

Given :-

  • a = 2
  • b = (-1)

To Find :-

  • 6a²b²- 4ab

Formula used :-

  • (-1)^2n = 1
  • (-)(-n) = n { If a bracket is preceded by a minus sign , negative sign inside bracket changes into positive sign. }

Solution :-

given expression is,

→ 6a²b²- 4ab

putting a = 2 and b = (-1) we get,

→ 6 × (2)² × (-1)² - 4 × 2 × (-1)

using 2² = 4 and (-1)² = 1 now,

→ 6 × 4 × 1 - 8 × (-1)

→ 24 - (-8)

using above told rule of sign change ,

→ 24 + 8

32 (Ans.)

Hence, the required value is equal to 32 .
