Answer:

We also know that when you have the same numerator and denominator in a fraction, it always equals 1. For example: So as long as we multiply or divide both the top and the bottom of a fraction by the same number, it's just the same as multiplying or dividing by 1 and we won't change the value of the fraction.

Given : The value of a fraction changes if the numerator and denominator are divided by

To Find : Correct option

a. Same number b. 1 c. 0 d. different number

Solution:

Let say Fraction is  a/b

Numerator = a

Denominator = b

Divided by k

(a/k)/(b/k)  = a/b

Fraction does not change

a/b

= (a/1)/(b/1)

= a/b

Fraction does not change

a/b

= (a/0)/(b/0)

a/0  and b/0 are not defined Hence fraction no more defined

a/b

= (a/2)/(b/4)

= 2a/b

= 2( original fraction )

Hence fraction changes

Hence Fraction changes when numerator and denominator are divided by different number
