If the factor is x+1 then it will satisfy ax^3+2x^2-x+3a-7=0

 substitute x= -1 in given equation and solve to get value of a

              a(-1)^3+2(-1)^2-(-1)+3a-7=0\

               -a+ 2 + 1 + 3a -7=2a-4=0

                         a=2

Step-by-step explanation:

BY EVALUATION :-

ax3+2x2−x+3a−7

Evaluate for x=1

a(13)+2(12)−1+3a−7

=4a−6

BY SIMPLIFYING:-

Let's simplify step-by-step.

ax3+2x2−x+3a−7

=ax3+2x2+−x+3a+−7

Answer:

=ax3+2x2+3a−x−7
