a = p {(1 +  \frac{r}{100}) }^{t}  \\ a = 15000 {(1 +  \frac{20}{100} )}^{2}  \\ a = 15000 \times(  { \frac{120}{100} )}^{2}  \\ a = 15000 \times  \frac{120 \times 120}{100 \times 100}  \\ a = 150   \times 144 \\ a = 21600
2 YEARS LATER BUS VALUE WILL BECOME 21600.

Hey,
Thanks for asking this question.

Present value of machine = 15000 Rupees

The value of machine reduces by 20% every year.
Lets take value of machine after 1 year be V1.

=> V1 = 15000 - 20% of 15000
=> V1 = 15000 - 15000×20/100
=> V1 = 12000 Rupees

Lets take value of machine after 2 years be V2.

=> V2 = V1 - 20% of V1

=> V2 = 12000 - 20% of 12000
=> V2 = 12000 - 12000×20/100
=> V2 = 12000 - 2400
=> V2 = 9600 Rupees.

●So the value of machine after 2 years will be Rupees 9600.
