(c) is least on equator

We know,

g = GM/R²

Let, distance of the core of earth to the equator = R

And, distance of the core of earth to the poles = r

By observation, r < R

"g" in Equator:-

g′ = GM/R²

"g" in Poles:-

g″= GM/r²

⇒ g″ > g′.

Or, acceleration due to gravity increases from equator to the poles.
