To Find : Value of  current i

Solution:

Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL)

Total current entering a circuits junction is exactly equal to the total current leaving the same junction.

4A  and  1 A  are entering to Node

and 2A  and i  are leaving the node

=> i  + 2  =  4 +  1

=> i  = 3 A

Hence Value of i is 3A
