Private Quelch was a man who had acquired great knowledge and was very proud of his knowledge. In spite of his elaborate knowledge he did not have the maturity to wear his knowledge gracefully. He flaunted his knowledge in front of everyone. This earned his the displeasure of his superiors and he was placed on kitchen duties.

But if his team mates or the superiors hoped to intimidate him, their hope was shattered because Private Quelch decided to function as well as he could in his new duties. This is a positive attitude and proves that he considered any duty deserves hard work and sincerity. The young people, who look for the dignity of the white collar jobs can take a leaf out of Private Quelch's book and consider every job with its due status.

Yes  , Its true that we should respect every labor because every work  dignity . No one should comment on any one 's job & hurt the  his or her sentiments . NO work in a democratic country is small . every profession deserved admiration & appreciation . we need every kind of work in society . from shoe makers to  business man , from tea maker to tea company owner . All are needed in a nation at any time of point . not every shiny & glamorous occupation is good & rest is bad . nothing like .as long as someone earning his or her livelihood legally he or she deserve respect from society always .
