The value of K = -23

Given:

The terms 7K +3, 4K-5, 2K + 10 are in AP

To find:

The value of K

Solution:

Given 7K +3, 4K-5, 2K + 10 are in AP

here,

First term a₁ = 7K+3

Second term a₂ = 4K-5

Third term a₃ = 2k+10

As we know in a AP

Common difference d = 2nd term - 1st term = 3rd term - 2nd term

⇒ 4K- 5 - 7K - 3 = 2K+10 - 4K+ 5

⇒ -3K - 8 = -2K +15

⇒  3K - 2K = -15 - 8

⇒  K = -23

The value of K = -23
