2) As it does not have any atmosphere , the Acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the moon is much much less than the acceleration due to gravity on the surface of Earth.
3) if we consider the mass of the moon it's just 1.2% of the mass of Earth which is really very less.
4) And if we consider the radius of the moon it is just 1740 km which is again very small in comparison to Earth .
5) So, the Acceleration due to gravity on the surface of the moon is just 16.6% of that on the Earth Surface.
6) Therefore the Acceleration due to gravity on the surface of moon is
