The value of g at the center of the earth is zero. Is the above statement correct? If so, then what is the value of 'G' in the centre of the earth? Now calculate the weight of an object which has a mass of 5 kg on the surface of the earth, at the centre of the earth.

Answer:

Since, from Newton's law, we know F=mg. Since, mass m of an object can never be 0. Therefore, when F=0, then g has to be 0. Thus, the value of g is zero at the centre of Earth
