Answer:

3x²+2x+k=0

Here, a=3 , b=2 , c=k

For real roots,

b²-4ac = 0

(k)² - 4×3×k = 0

k² - 12k = 0

k(k-12) = 0

k = 0 × (k-12) or k-12 = 0 × k

k = 0 or k-12 = 0 i.e. k = 12

k = 0 can't happen ,so the value for k is 12.
