We know that , if pair of linear equations has infinitely many solution

$\boxed{ \sf\frac{ a_{1}}{ a_{2}} = \frac{ b_{1}}{ b_{2}} = \frac{ c_{1}}{ c_{2}} }$

Thus ,

k/12 = 3/k

k² = 36

k = √36

k = ± 6
