The value of 'K' for which the quadratic equation 2kx2 + x + 3 = 0 has equal roots, is

D=b^2-4ac
(In the given equation.., a=2 , b=1 , c=3)
(1)^2-4(1)(3)=0
1-24k=0
-24k=-1
K=-1/-24
Therefore k=1/24
