For infinite solution we have a1/a2=b1/b2 =c1/c2

In given equation 2x + 3y = 5 4x + ky = 10

Compare these eq with standard eq a1x+b1y+c1=0 a2x+b2y+c2=0 a1=2,b1=3,c1=-5,a2=4,b2=k,c2=-10 Now a1/a2= b1/b2 => 2/4=3/k => 2k=12 => k=6
