We know that if x= a is zeros polynomial,

then x-a is a factor of f(x).

To find:

The value of k.

Explanation:

We have,

-4 is zero of f(x).

Therefore,

x+4 is a factor of f(x).

Now,

Divide f(x)= x² -x -2k +2 by g(x)=x+4.

=) -2k+22=0

=) -2k = -22

=) k= -22/-2
