The two equations are:-
4x +6y-1 = 0
2x +ky-7 =0
Now ,
for the lines being parallel
The relation between the coefficients should be :-
a¹/a²=b¹/b²≠c¹/c²
So,
a1/a2 = 4/2 =2
So,
6/k =2
Or k =3
