Answer:

Hence , there is no value of P

Step-by-step explanation:

a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

m/6 = 1/2 = 2/3

m/6 = 1/2

m = 3

m/6 = 2/3

m = 4

As m has two different values , therefore , there will be no value for m for which the pair of equations will have infinitely many solutions

Hence , there is no value of P

the givn question is the value of m for which the pair of equation mx-y=2 and 6x-2y=3 will have infinitely many solutions is

It is given that we have to find the value of m

The two equations are said to be pair equations.

mx-y=2

6x-2y=3

the general form of the equation will be

a1x+b1y=c1

a2x+b2y=c2.

The equation becomes

a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

Here a1a2 b1b2c1c2 are the coefficients of the variables x and

m/6=1/2=2/3

compare 1st and 2 nd expression.

m/6=1/2

m=6/2=3.

m=3.

comparing 1st and 3 rd expression we get,

m/6=2/3

m=12/3

m=4.

on different terms, the m seems to have different values. Therefore, there will be no standard value for m .

Hence, the pair of equations will have infinitely many solutions.

the final answer is m has no fixed value, it may vary for every different values..
