Answer:

magnetic flux = BA cosx

Here x = 90 ( perpendicular)

magnetic flux = 0

cos 90 = 0

Solution :

Given :-

Magnitude of magnetic field = 2T

Surface area = 1.5m^2

Angle between area vector and field vector = 90°

To Find :-

Magnetic flux passing through surface.

Formula :-

Formula of magnetic flux associated with surface in terms of magnetic field and area is given by

\underline{\boxed{\bf{\pink{\phi=\vec{B}\:{\tiny{\bullet}}\:\vec{A}=BA\cos\Theta}}}}

  • B denotes magnetic field
  • A denotes area
  • Φ denotes magnetic flux

Calculation :-

\Rightarrow\bf\:\phi=BA\cos\Theta\\ \\ \Rightarrow\sf\:\phi=(2)(1.5)\cos90\degree\\ \\ \Rightarrow\sf\:\phi=3(0)\\ \\ \Rightarrow\underline{\boxed{\bf{\purple{\phi=0\:Tm^2}}}}
