Answer:

p(x)=12x²-7x+1

p(1/4)=12(1/4)²-7(1/4)+1

=12×1/16-7/4+1

=3/4-7/4+1

=3-7+4/4

= -8/4

=-2

Therefore the value of p(1/4) is -2

Given -

p(x) =  {12x}^{2} - 7x + 1

p( \frac{1}{4} )

To,

Find the value of

p( \frac{1}{4})

Solution -

 => p(x) =  {12x}^{2} - 7x + 1

 => p( \frac{1}{4}) =  {12}{ (\frac{1}{4})}^{2} - 7( \frac{1}{4})  + 1

 =>  \frac{12}{16} -  \frac{7}{4} + 1

After taking LCM of 16 and 4 -

  \large =  >  \: \frac{24 - 14 + 1}{8}

\large = >  \frac{9}{8}

\therefore the value of p(1/4) is 9/8
