Answer:

Sin^2 (85)= sin^2(90–5)= cos^2(5)

but we know sin^2 (x)+cos^2(x)=1

by using the above two property the equation solution will be

from 5 degrees to 40 degrees sin^2(x) will be there as usual and 50 degrees to 85 degrees sin^2(x) can be convert to cos^2(x) . sin^2(90) degrees and sin^2(45) will be separate which is 1 and 1/2.

(40/5) +1+(1/2) =9.5

so solution will be 9.5
