Question :-

The Value of sin 60° + cos²60° is -

Answer :-

\frac{2 \sqrt{3}  + 1}{4}  \:  \\

Solution :-

 \implies \:  \sin \: 60 \degree +  { \cos}^{2}  60 \degree \\  \\  \because  \: \sin \: 60 \degree =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  \:  \: \cos 60 \degree \:  =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  +  { \bigg( \frac{1}{2}  \bigg)}^{2}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}  +  \frac{1}{4}  \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{2 \sqrt{3}  + 1}{4}
