View : 72% of our country comprises of villages -They are the backbone of our country. -Most of our grains, vegetables and fruits come from villages .
-They have a cleaner environment. -They have a better social values. -small scale industries offer opportunities for local employment. -Infrastructure and labour are cheaper in villages.
-The village are neglected and are no longer the focus of development. -In fact they too are fast imitating urban lifestyles. -They have poor facilities of education and healthcare.
-They have less facilities for employment as compared to cities and therefore villages prefer to migrate to cities these days. -In their attempts at preserving tradition, they are easy targets for superstition.
