ANSWER:

  • The Value of P(x) when x = 2 is (-3)
  • The value of P(x) when x = 1 is (4)

GIVEN:

  • P(x) = -4x²+5x+3

TO FIND:

  • Value of P(x) at x = 2 and x = 1

SOLUTION:

P(x) = -4x²+5x+3

Putting x = 2

=> P(2) = -4(2)²+5(2)+3

=> P(2) = (-16)+10+3

=> P(2) = (-16+13)

=> P(2) = (-3)

=> P(x) = -4x²+5x+3

Putting x = 1

=> P(1) = -4(1)²+5(1)+3

=> P(1) = (-4)+5+3

=> P(1) = 8-4

=> P(1) = 4

The Value of P(x) when x = 2 is (-3)

The value of P(x) when x = 1 is (4)
