✔Universal gravitational force means that it is directly proportional to the masses of the two bodies and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them.

✔F = G m1 m2 / R2

✔That is why gravitational force is universal and constant everywhere. It is denoted by G. The value of G is given by cavandish in his laboratory. It is 6.67 × 10^-11. This value of G does not vary from place to place as it is constant bcoz of the above formula. It will remain same on equator and on poles.
