  • Step 2: Take 2/5 to the right side.
  • Because of that 2/5 changes to -2/5.
  • Step 3: Therefore, taking LCM we get  

          x = (3 - 2) / 5  

           x = 1/5.

  •    Hence we get the solution 1/5.
