I think u have written the wrong equation. It should be like this 8/-3=x/15.

If the equation is as such as I have written then it should be done this way.

8/-3=x/15

By cross multiplication 8×15=-3×x

=120=-3x

=120/-3=x

=-40=x

Step-by-step explanation:

8/(-3)=X/15
