$\frac{x+2}{2x-2}=\frac{x-2}{2x-6}\\ \\(2x-6)(x+2)=(x-2)(2x-2)\\\\2x^{2} +4x-6x-12=2x^{2} -2x-4x+4\\\\2x^{2} -2x-12=2x^{2} -6x+4\\\\-2x+6x-12-4=0\\\\4x-16=0\\\\x=16/4\\\\x=4$
