Given:

x - ky - 2 = 0   ---- (i)

a₁ = 1, b₁ = -k, c₁ = -2

3x + 2y + 5 = 0  ---- (ii)

a₂ = 3, b₂ = 2, c₂ = 5

It has unique solution:

(a₁/a₂) ≠ (b₁/b₂)

=> (1/3) ≠ (-k/2)

=> k ≠ -2/3

Hope it help!
