The values of current I flowing through a coil for the corresponding values of the potential difference across the coil are shown below I is 0.05;0.10;0.20;0.30;0.40
And V 0.85;1.70;3.5;5.0;6.8.
A.what relation do you find between V and I from the above table?
B.find the resistance of the coil?

a) considering the first reading,

V = 0.85

I = 0.05

Hence

V/I = 0.85/0.05 = 17

similarly taking the second reading;

V = 1.7

I = 0.1

hence,

V/I = 1.7/0.1 = 17

similarly from all the readings we find that

V = 17I

which is the required relation between V and I

B) From ohm's law we know that

R = V/I

putting the above got relation we get

R = 17I/I

=> R = 17Ω

Hence the resistance of the coil is 17Ω

Answer:

17 omega is the answer.

draw the graph as the normal graph we draw in maths by taking v on x axis and i on y axis.
