Answer:

x=9 y=5

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equations are x+y=14 and x−y=4. ... Therefore, on solving the equations x+y=14 and x−y=4, we get the value of y will be 5 and the value of x is 9. So, the correct answer is “x=9,y=5”.

Given Equation

➝x + y = 14 (i)

➝x - y = 4 (ii)

To Find

➝Value of x and y

Now Using Substitution Method, So Take (ii)eq

➝x - y = 4

➝x = 4 + y (iii)

Now Put the value of x on (i)eq

 ➝x + y = 14

➝4 + y + y = 14

➝2y = 14 - 4

➝2y = 10

➝y = 10/2

➝y = 5

Now Put the Value of y on (iii)eq

➝x = 4 + y

➝x = 4 + 5

➝x = 9

Answer

➝x = 9 and y = 5 , so option B is correct
