Since, ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral.

B + D = 180°

And,

A + C = 180°

➠ x + 10 + 5y + 5 = 180°

x + 5y = 165° .... (i)

And,

2x + 4 + 4y - 4 = 180°

➠ 2x + 4y = 180° ...(ii)

Solving equation (i) and (ii), we get

x = 40° and y = 25°

Therefore, x + y = 40° + 25° = 65°

Answer:

ABCD is a cyclic quadrilateral.

∠B + ∠D = 180°

And,

∠A + ∠C = 180°

➠ x + 10 + 5y + 5 = 180°

x + 5y = 165° .... (i)

And,

2x + 4 + 4y - 4 = 180°

➠ 2x + 4y = 180° ...(ii)

Solving equation (i) and (ii), we get

x = 40° and y = 25°

Therefore, x + y = 40° + 25° = 65°
