Given : 2x-3y = 12

To Find :   values of X and y when a point lies on the linear equation 2x-3y = 12

Solution:

2x-3y = 12

its equation of a line

infinite point lies on a line

Lets find few point

x = 0

=> 2(0) - 3y = 12

=> y = - 4

(0 , - 4)  is  the point

y = 0

=> 2x - 3(0)  = 12

=> x = 6

Hence ( 6 , 0 ) is the point

so ( 0 , - 4)  and ( 6 , 0)  are  examples of  2 points on   linear equation 2x-3y = 12
