Raoult's law is a Simple law of thermodynamics.It is established by François-Marie,a French chemist Raoult in 1887. It states that the partial vapor pressure of any component of an ideal mixture of liquids is equal to the vapour pressure of the pure component multiplied by its mole fraction in the mixture.That means according to Rault's law, the vapour pressure of any solution is the product of the mole fraction of the volatile component and pure vapour pressure of the solution.

P=x1p1+x2p2

=80*3/5+60*2/5

=48+24=72 (atm)
