OA = 2i + 2j
Tanx = 2/2 = 1
x = 45°
Angle between vector and x-axis is 45°
Now, if vector is rotated anti-clockwise by 45° then the vector will be exactly along y-axis.
Magnitude of that vector = sqrt(2^2 + 2^2) = 2√2
∴ New vector = 2√2 j
Tanx = 2/2 = 1
x = 45°
Angle between vector and x-axis is 45°
Now, if vector is rotated anti-clockwise by 45° then the vector will be exactly along y-axis.
Magnitude of that vector = sqrt(2^2 + 2^2) = 2√2
∴ New vector = 2√2 j
