Given :-

  • Initial velocity = 40 m/s

  • Final velocity = 90 m/s

  • Time = 10 s

To Find :-

  • Acceleration of the body

Solution :-

 \large \implies \boxed{\boxed{\sf \orange{ a =  \dfrac{v - u}{t}}}}

 \large \implies \sf a =  \dfrac{90 - 40}{10}

\large \implies \sf a =  \dfrac{50}{10}

\large \implies\boxed{ \sf \purple{ a = 5 \:  {ms}^{ - 2}}}

Acceleration of the body is 5 m/s²

Given :-

  • Initial velocity (u) = 40m/s
  • Final velocity (v) = 90m/s
  • Time (t) = 10s

To Find :-

  • Calculate the acceleration of the body.

Solution :-

Applying 1st equation of motion,

v = u + at

=> 90 = 40 + a × 10

=> 90 = 40 + 10a

=> -10a = 40 - 90

=> -10a = -50

=> 10a = 50

=> a = 5m/s²

Therefore, The Acceleration of the body is 5m/s².
