Initial velocity = 2 m/s

Final velocity = 12 m/s

Time = 5s

⇒v = u + at

⇒at = v - u

⇒a = v - u/t

⇒a = 12 - 2/5

⇒a = 10/5

⇒a = 2

Acceleration is be 2 m/s²

Explanation:

Initial velocity of body=2mls

Final velocity of body=12 mls

Time=5s

Therefore,acceleration =(12-2/5)m/s^2i.e 10/5m/s^2=2m/s^2
