The velocity of a body which falls under gravity varies as gᵃhᵇ, where g is acc. due to gravity and h is the height. The values of a and b are(a) a = 1, b = 1/2 (b) a = b = 1(c) a = 1/2, b = 1(d) a = 1/2; b = 1/2

Option D

we know that

velocity unit is m/s

gravity unit is m/s^2

height unit is m

so m/s=(m/s^2)^a×(m)^b

so a+b =1

and a=1/2

So a=b=1/2

shrishsinha40: option b is correct
yashbhatia49: no D
