Answer:

acceleration is 1/12 m/s^2

Explanation:

intial velocity=36 Km/hr =10m/sec

final velocity=54 Km/hr=15m/sec

time=1 min=60 sec

now,

Acceleration=change in velocity/time

=15-10/60

=5/60

=1/12 m/s^2

Answer:

a=1/12 , s=750

Explanation:

v= u+at

v=54km/hour=54000/3600 m/sec = 15m/sec

u=36km/hour=36000/3600 m/sec = 10m/sec

t=1 minute= 60 sec

putting all values in the eqn-

15=10+a(60)

5=a(60)

a=5/60 = 1/12

also, s=ut+1/2at²

       s = 10(60)+1/2 (1/12)(60)²

       s= 600+1/24(3600)

          =600+150

           =750
