u=8m/s

v=2m/s

t=10 s

v=u+at

2=8+10a

a=-0.6m/s2

Deceleration=-a

=0.6 m/s2

Answer:0.6ms-2

Explanation:initial velocity u=8ms-1

Final velocity v=2ms-1

Time taken ▲t=10 s

Since the acceleration is assumed to be uniform

a=v-u/▲t= (2-8)/10=6/10=0.6ms-2

The deceleration is

0.6 ms-2
