The velocity of a particle P due east is 4m/s and that of Q is 3m/s due south. What is the velocity of P with respect to Q ?​

Answer: 5 m/s

Explanation: V (PQ) = V(P) -V(Q) (i.e. vel. of P w.r.t. Q)

                                  =4 i cap - 3 (-j cap)

                                  =4 i cap + 3 j cap
