Given:-

  • Initial velocity ,u = 50m/s

  • Final velocity ,v = 60m/s

  • Time taken ,t = 20 s

To Find:-

  • . Acceleration ,a

Solution:-

As we know that acceleration is defined as the rate of change of velocity at per unit time.

• a = v-u/t

where,

a is the acceleration

v is the final velocity

u is the initial velocity

t is the time taken

Substitute the value we get

→ a = 60-50/20

→ a = 10/20

→ a = 1/2

→ a = 0.5m/s²

Therefore,the acceleration of the object is 0.5 m/.

Hence , Option C is the correct answer .

Answer:

Given :-

  • The velocity of an object changes from 50 m/s to 60 m/s in 20 seconds.

To Find :-

  • What is the average acceleration of the object.

Formula Used :-

To find acceleration we know that,

\boxed{\bold{\large{a\: =\: \dfrac{v - u}{t}}}}

( where,

  • a = Acceleration
  • v = Final velocity
  • u = Initial velocity
  • t = Time )

Solution :-

Given :

  • v = 60 m/s
  • u = 50 m/s
  • t = 20 seconds

According to the question by using the formula we get

a = \dfrac{60 - 50}{20}

a = \sf\dfrac{\cancel{10}}{\cancel{20}}

a = 0.5 m/

\therefore The average acceleration of the object is 0.5 m/ .

Correct options is option no (c) \large{\green{\checkmark}}
