We know That ,

acceleration =

Final velocity- Initial velocity÷ time

I.e.

50-20÷10

=30÷3

=10m/s²

GIVEN

  • Initial Velocity , u = 20m/s
  • Final Velocity , v = 50m/s
  • Time , t = 10s

TO FIND

  • Acceleration

SOLUTION

  • From 1st eqn. of motion, we have

v = u + at

50 = 20 + a × 10

10a = 50-20 m/s²

a = 30/10 m/s²

a = 3m/s²

Acceleration of the object is 3m/s²
