Given that,

v = 20 m/s

u = 5 m/s

s = 50 m

We need to find : Acceleration (a) of the car.

Using the third equation of motion : v² - u² = 2as.

⇒ (10)² - (5)² = 2a*50

⇒ 100 - 25 = 100a

⇒ 75 = 100a

⇒ a = 75/100

⇒ a = 0.75 m/s²

Hence, Acceleration of the car is 0.75 m/s².

Given :

  • Initial Velocity (u) = 5m/s
  • Final Velovity (v) = 10m/s
  • Distance Travelled (s) = 50m.

To Find :

  • Acceleration (a) of the car.

Solution :

For Finding the acceleration :

Using 3rd Equation :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{{v}^{2}-{u}^{2}=2as}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{{(10)}^{2}-{(5)}^{2}=2a(50)}

\longmapsto\tt{100-25=100a}

\longmapsto\tt{75=100a}

\longmapsto\tt{a=\cancel\dfrac{75}{100}}

\longmapsto\tt\bold{a=0.75{m/s}^{2}}

So , The Acceleration of the car is 0.75m/s²...

Acceleration :

The rate of change of the velocity of an object is known as Acceleration.

Formula of Acceleration :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{a=\dfrac{v-u}{t}}

Here :

  • v = final velocity
  • u = initial velocity
  • t = time taken
