Here in this case the velocity of a train between two points is V1 = 80 km/h and the average velocity is V2= 60 km/h
Now the halt time is th = 1 hr
So let us take that the total distance is 'd' and the total time taken to cover this distance is 't' .
So, dt−1=80 ......(1) and dt=60 ......(2)Now , from equation 1 and 2 we get ,80(t−1)=60t⇒80t−60t=80⇒20t=80⇒t=4 hr
Now putting the value of t in eqyation 1 we get ,dt−1=80⇒d3=80⇒d=240 km
