Answer

Given :-

  • Velocity (v) of ultrasound = 1400m/s
  • Time (t) taken to reflect wave

To find :-

  • Depth (d) of ocean.

Solution :-

By using Formula

2d = vt

d =  \frac{1400 \times 15}{2}  \\ d =  700 \times 15 \\ d = 10500m

The depth of ocean is 10500m
