First find value of acc with eqn a=v×dv/dx

Where v is 8 and dv/dx is slope of lone that is -8/4 = -2 (Minus as it is decreasing)

Now your a come out to be -16 initially, and ZERO at v = 0, as it depends directly!

Thus second graph is correct!
