To find distance travelled, calculate area of v-t graph, which is equal of area of the spaces enclosed by the x and y axis. So distance = (4x2) + (2x2) + (2x2) =16m

For displacement, calculate area of spaces with positive velocity and subtract area enclosed with negative velocity.

Displacement= (8 + 4) - (2x2) = 8m

Answer:Displacement= 8m

distance =16m

Explanation:

To find distance travelled, calculate area of v-t graph, which is equal of area of the spaces enclosed by the x and y axis. So distance = (4x2) + (2x2) + (2x2) =16m

For displacement, calculate area of spaces with positive velocity and subtract area enclosed with negative velocity.
