The velocity time graph of a particle is plotted in adjacent
figure. The acceleration of the particle at 8s, is-
(1) 3 m/s²
(2) 2 m/s²
(3) -2 m/s²
(4) -3 m/s²

At 8s a = (v2-v1) / t

a = (12 - (-8)) / 6 = 10/3 m/s^2 approx 3m/s^2

Note: Acceleration is the gradient of v-t graph and gradient of a staight line is constant.
