The velocity - time graph of a particle of mass 50 g moving in a definite direction is
shown in the following figure. Answer the questions based on this figure.

a) Find the momentum of the particle at 2 s.

b) What does the slope of the graph represent?

c) Calculate the acceleration of the particle.

d) Calculate the distace tavelled in 5 s.

Answer:

a) momentum = mass × velocity

= 0.050 × 8 m / s

= 0.4 k g m/s

B) uniform velocity

c) a = u- v / t

= 0-20/5

= -20/5

= -4 m 2/s

d) 1/2 × Base × height × breadth× length

count the area of the triangle and rectangle below the velocity time graph . I don't know the correct measurements of height , breadth , base and length. so u use the above formula to find the area
